Content Management Systems (CMS) are software tools for managing the content on a website. They are usually controlled by logging into a protected administration area which should have a user friendly interface for adding/updating text content and images on their site. The content management system hands control back to the owner of the website and reducing their reliance on a web designer or other third party for updates.

We use a variety of off the shelf open source content management systems such as WordPress and Drupal which can be extensively customised to offer added functionality and search engine optimisation. Modern CMSs are developed in a modular fashion which allows various features to be added or removed from the overall framework reasonably easily.
With a large scale CMS we work with our customers to produce a unique design (look and feel) for the business. With this is in place the design is integrated into the most suitable CMS and features are added or customised to requirement.
